Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is always so fun to me.  It's a day filled with so much anticipation and joy.  When I was going up, my mom and dad always tried to help the day go by faster by distracting us with fun activities.  I have always loved Christmas Eve....almost more than Christmas day.  This year we watched Christmas movies, opened pajamas from Grandma and Grandpa Eames, and made cookies for Santa.

Christmas Dresses

This year the girls dresses were extra cute.  Even Brynnlee and Pressley thought so.  Brynnlee thought she could convince me to let her wear her dress every day.  I think they look beautiful.

First Snow

The girls were lucky that Daddy was home to play on the cold, snowy day.  This was Pressley's first time playing in the snow.  Aren't my snow girls so cute?

Decorating the Christmas Tree

Our plan this year was to have a magical family experience picking out a Christmas tree.  We were going to go to a local Christmas tree farm, choose the perfect tree, and Kevin was going to chop it down for us.  Yeah right, like that happened.  Instead, because of poor communication, we threw our girls in the car at the last minute, drove to the Christmas tree farm when it was almost dark, and picked out a Christmas tree that I didn't even like.  Fortunately, the girls loved it all because running around outside, drinking hot chocolate, and having someone tie a tree to your car was a new experience for them.  And of course, decorating a Christmas tree is always delightful.

Visit with Santa

The girls were lucky to have a chance to visit Santa Claus.

Waiting in line to see Santa.
Pressley wasn't so happy about sitting on Santa's
lap....neither was Santa!
Brynnlee loved Santa!

Brynnlee loved her Christmas tree face paint.

Happy Halloween

I was extremely excited to celebrate Halloween this year.  The girls had cute costumes, I was able to decorate our house for the first time, and we live in a neighborhood where trick-or-treaters were coming to our house.

Beautiful Fall

There was a beautiful fall tree with golden leaves just down the road from our house.  I just had to get pictures of the girls with it.

Kevin's Run

Kevin ran the United States Air Force half marathon this year. Great job Kevin!

Our Four Year Old

In September Brynnlee turned four years old!

Brynnlee woke up to a birthday surprise and presents.

Brynnlee insisted on lunch at McDonald's.

We rented a Dora movie just for her.

And she watched it with a big bowl of popcorn.

She wanted a princess birthday balloon.
