Decorating the Christmas Tree

Our plan this year was to have a magical family experience picking out a Christmas tree.  We were going to go to a local Christmas tree farm, choose the perfect tree, and Kevin was going to chop it down for us.  Yeah right, like that happened.  Instead, because of poor communication, we threw our girls in the car at the last minute, drove to the Christmas tree farm when it was almost dark, and picked out a Christmas tree that I didn't even like.  Fortunately, the girls loved it all because running around outside, drinking hot chocolate, and having someone tie a tree to your car was a new experience for them.  And of course, decorating a Christmas tree is always delightful.
