Summer is ending. School will be starting soon. I haven't cared about this for four years since I stopped teaching. But this year, the ending of summer is bringing mixed emotions. Why? Brynnlee starts kindergarten this August. In fact there are only 15 weekdays that we have left together, and I hate it. I made the mistake of telling her last week that I don't want her to go to kindergarten. She was so sad. In fact, she had a talk with Kevin about it. B: "Why doesn't Mommy want me to go to school?" K: "She will just miss you while you're gone." B: "Doesn't she know that I'll come back home?" Well, because of this I am trying to make each day a little more fun-filled. Two days down, 15 more to go.
*We played with Play-Doh.
| Here is Pressley's pancake. |
| Brynnlee made a birthday cake. |
*Then Brynnlee and Pressley wrote a letter to their favorite Disney princess. Brynnlee wrote to Aurora, and Pressley wrote to Ariel.
Today we goofed around outside. The girls rode on their bikes and waited for the mail lady to come by and pick up their letters.
