Sometimes a pair of shoes enters your life, and you never want to let them go. This is the case with my favorite shoes ever: a pair of black flip-flops with multi-colored beaded flowers on the straps. They are perfect because I can wear them dressed up or down, and they match so many of my clothes. The interesting thing? I bought these shoes at PaylessShoeSource over {TEN} years ago. Hard to believe, right!?
Unfortunately, like most good things, my multi-colored-beaded-flower-on-the-straps-black flip-flop wearing days have come to an end. One night while at a church dinner, one of the straps broke. I am pretty broken up about it. In fact, I haven't thrown them away yet!

I hate that! That same thing has happened to me! It's so annoying cause then you have to try and replace them. I feel for ya, I'm sorry!
OMG I remember those shoes. They are so cute. What a sad sad day for you. I wouldn't have thrown them away yet either. You must properly morn there death!!!
He he. I saw the picture before I read what you'd written and I practically screamed, "I KNOW those shoes! PAYLESS!"
BTW--I went back there last month and what's his name (Stupid Boss) was there. It was really busy and I didn't dare look him in the eye when he was telling me all this stuff about certain shoes. I felt like walking out the door except I really needed those darn cleats...but then I remembered all my cute friends there so I wouldn't leave irritated. :) THose were the good ol' days! SOrt of.
